The Abrau team supported the preparatory stage of privatization of one of the oldest design institutes in the capital. The main goal was to identify growth points and eliminate management barriers for the successful transfer of the asset to the private sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before entering the privatization market, it is important not only to evaluate the asset, but also to understand how it can be of interest to the private sector. We helped transform the perception of a state design institute into a potentially effective commercial organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Organizational analysis:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The existing management structure was studied
Weaknesses were identified and changes were proposed to improve efficiency.
Recommendations for restructuring and delineation of functions are given<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Financial and economic diagnostics:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A preliminary audit of key metrics was conducted: revenue, costs, debt
Operating profitability and debt load assessed
A financial profile has been prepared for potential investors<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Recommendations for effectiveness:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Optimization of expenses, staff numbers and processes is proposed
Measures have been developed to reduce costs and speed up approval cycles
A concept for a flexible operating model has been developed for the future owner<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Support for privatization:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recommendations for the transaction structure have been developed
Data package for data room prepared
